This lovely Fathers Day Bunch features a selection of the beautiful early summer blooms that we have in June at Cornish Blooms.

The bunch is likely to include our Snapdragons, Verbena and scented Pinks grown here on our farm, alongside Cornish Agapanthus and Sunflowers and Alliums from Lincolnshire.

The Snapdragons are grown here from tiny plugs that arrive early in the season and are grown on for months in our tunnels before we starting cutting them in early to mid June.  We cut them early in the day before the tunnels are too hot and they are conditioned in our cold store before they are ready to use.

The scented Pinks are grown in polytunnels right next to the flower barn where we prepare our orders and you simply cannot get fresher than that!  These wonderful flowers are in season from May – October and we grow a range of colours including pale pink, white, lilac, purple and red. Although they are called ‘Pinks’ their name actually comes from the ‘pinked’ edges of their petals. ‘Pinks’ have a lovely clove-like fragrance and a good vase life.

The Verbena are grown here in one of our fields known as the ‘Four-acre’.  These beautiful flowers are a bee magnet and you can hear the hum of the bees in that field!

The Agapanthus are a stunning flower, best known for their large, blue drumstick-headed flowers in summer. Synonymous with Cornwall, these beautiful flowers are grown near the rugged Cornish coast and delivered to us as fresh as can be from only a few miles away.  The Cornish climate is perfect for Agapanthus, which originate from South Africa, due to our mild winters and hot summers.

The Sunflowers and Alliums for this bunch will be from Lincolnshire.

It will arrive gift wrapped in our beautiful branded box, delivered by Royal Mail 1-2 days after the dispatch date you choose.
