Here at The Great British Florist we grow many of our own flowers on site at our beautiful farm set in the Cornish countryside.
One of our biggest crops is our Scented Narcissi which is used in our mixed posies and bouquets throughout the winter months.
Once picked, the flowers are carefully checked, counted and bunched before being used in the bouquets. (Snuggles, the farm dog, oversees this!)
As we are at the mercy of mother nature the Narcissi picking season may start slightly earlier or later each year depending on the weather. Before our flowers are ready to be picked we source our Narcissi from the Isles of Scilly, whose season starts some time before the mainland.
