15th – 21st June is British Flowers Week and we are delighted to offer this wonderful bunch of Scented Pinks and Agapanthus as our bouquet of the week.

British Flowers Week is a celebration of the British cut flower industry and the growers that are working hard to supply it with British home grown flowers as an alternative to the imported flowers that fill most supermarkets.  You can read more about this movement via this link: https://www.flowersfromthefarm.co.uk/british-flowers-week/

Please select the number of stems you would like from the drop down menu.

This wonderful bunch will include Scented Pinks and Agapanthus.

Our Scented Pinks flowers are in flower from May – October and are grown a stones throw from the flower barn where we pack our flowers. We grow a range of colours including pale pink, white, lilac and purple. Although they are called ‘pinks’ their name actually comes from the ‘pinked’ edges of their petals.  Pinks flowers have a lovely clove-like fragrance and a good vase life. We pick and send our scented pinks ‘in bud’ so that they open up once they arrive.  We grow our Cornish Scented Pinks indoors in tunnels and in our large glasshouse, taking new cuttings each year. After two years we replace the plants with new ones to continue to give us good quality flowers & stems. The Pinks are our largest summer crop and we are very proud of these wonderful flowers!

The Agapanthus are a stunning summer bloom that are synonmous with Cornwall.   The Cornish climate is perfect for Agapanthus, which originate from South Africa, due to our mild winters and hot summers. These have been supplied by local lady Jess and her family who have a farm near Redruth.
